I didn’t read the reviews at all, so I was incredibly surprised. The cafe I was headed to was closed that day, so I spotted this place and decided to be “adventurous” (which is Katie-lingo for “not reading the reviews”). Wow. The wait staff was sweet and personable, and the fish and chips were amazing. The food came out so hot that I needed to eat my coleslaw to let it cool a little. I’m not sure I’ve ever done that. Highly recommended.

Love the fish and chips. Best in the summer, (sometimes freezer burnt in winter).Chips are okay, but the fish is huge and delicious with good tartar sauce.Staff is always great. Recent live music was enjoyable.Haven't really had any of their other food.

Amazing fish and chips as well as homemade chicken strips!

What has happened to this place? The last two times we’ve been here, our chicken strips were not cooked all the way. Biting into a chewy, partially cooked piece of chicken is really disgusting. And it’s happened twice! The service is terrible. After getting our food, we were pretty much ignored, had empty water glasses and finally had to chase down our server just to pay our bill. Also, the servers need to have their hair up or tied back. All that long hair going in and out of the kitchen is completely unsanitary and will end up in your food which is pretty unappetizing. Clean this place up and train your cooks and servers, please! It appears that the owners do not care about this place anymore.

Tried to order take out on Friday, May 12th and was told they were NOT offering the take out option because they were far too busy to do that...not really sure how you are too busy to throw a couple pieces of fish in a freaking box and send it out the door, but okay!! You would think it would be easier to do that than to have to sanitize a table, do dishes, etc...You've effectively lost my business tho!! It's especially frustrating since you have a very LARGE sign out front facing Hwy 93 that clearly says TAKE OUT!!! There also might be people that still don't feel comfortable dining in, so not having the take out option eliminates that customer base...but I guess you just have that small town mentality, thinking you can just do whatever the eff you want bcuz you know there's not many other restaurant options out there for people...
